The Cheyenne Federal Courthouse is located in the Joseph C. O’Mahoney Federal Building, 2120 Capitol Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82001. The courthouse is a short drive from of our office. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. All visitors must walk through a metal detector. Photo ID is required for entry.

Transit – Public Transportation

We welcome you to use our on-demand transit system.  To schedule a trip, download the Cheyenne Transit app from your app store, and from there you can request a pick-up, similar to the Uber or Lyft app.  The fare for a one-way trip is $1.50 and you must have exact change, the driver is unable to make change.  If you need assistance making a trip request you are welcome to call our office at (307) 637-6253 and a dispatcher will be happy to reserve a trip for you.

Dispatch does not accept same-day trip requests on Saturdays, so you will want to request your trip prior to Saturday or use the app to schedule.

The Jack Spiker parking garage (located at 307 W. 17th Street) is short walk from the courthouse. Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., the first two hours are free.  If parking for over two hours, there is a $4.00 flat rate. Parking outside of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is free.
